The City of Sammamish is sponsoring a Community Food Drive on August 22, 2020 from 12 noon to 4pm at Central Washington University (CWU).  Items contributed will be distributed to the community through Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank (www.issaquahfoodbank.org) and Hopelink (www.hopelink.org).  

We are only accepting the following urgently needed items (non-expired, unopened):

• Pasta sauce (preferable canned or plastic jars)
• Dry cereal (including gluten-free options such as Cheerios or Chex)
• Canned tuna
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Hearty soups (such as Progresso, Chunky, or Campbells - regular and gluten-free)
• Spaghetti noodles (regular and gluten-free)
• Canned beef stew
• Diapers (sizes 5, 6, and pull ups)
• Baby wipes
• Feminine pads (smaller packs preferred)

This will be a no-contact drive through event, with the entrance to CWU on Main Street.  A map is attached.
