Traffic Engineering
The City of Sammamish Traffic Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of 26 signalized intersections, 400 street lights, and over 200 miles of striping. Additionally, the Division responds to requests for improvement, manages multiple traffic related programs, and oversees signal related Capital Improvement Projects.

Transportation Planning

The City of Sammamish Transportation Planning team focuses on improving mobility in Sammamish through long- and short-range transportation planning and policy efforts that emphasize community engagement and strengthening partnerships at the local and regional level. The team also oversees the alternative transit efforts in Sammamish including Community Ride, Community Van, and SchoolPool.
