Lower Sammamish Commons

Summary

The City purchased the Lower Sammamish Commons site in April 2002. A master plan for the 20-acre Lower Commons site was completed in 2003. With the planning efforts underway for the adjacent Town Center area, several changes are envisioned for the Lower Commons Park area to integrate the park with the future land uses to the north of the park.

Project Updates

February/March 2010
Sween House: Construction of the Sween House is now complete.
Freed House: The relocation of the Freed House was not awarded by City Council.
Trail Improvements: An accessible trail designed to connect upper and lower Sammamish Commons is now open.
Access Drive and Parking: The Lower Sammamish Commons Project was accepted by City Council February 2, 2010.  The parking lot is now open.
