Summary
The NE Inglewood Hill Road Non-Motorized Project, 216th Avenue NE to 222nd Avenue NE, constructs 2,000-feet of sidewalk and widened sidewalk for bicycles on the south side of the road. To acomodate the widening, retaining walls, safety fencing, and storm drain improvements will also be included.
Project Updates
Construction will begin on Monday, September 10, 2012. First items include installation of erosion and sediment controls, followed by vegetation clearing and excavation for retaining walls.
Goals and Benefits
Connects existing pedestrian facilities between 216th Avenue NE and 222nd Avenue NE, closing a gap that leads into the City's commercial core and the new Rec Center. New neighborhoods along the Inglewood and 216th Avenue NE corridor will benefit by this connectivity.

Budget
$1,050,000 is budgeted in the Transportation Capital Fund.
