On November 30 the Public Works Department held a second open house to further discuss options for the SE 32nd St barricade. At this open house, staff presented information gathered at the September 23rd open house. Included were a ranked speed survey results, updated traffic volume forecasts, followed-up with citizens in follow-up on the solicit feedback, opinions, and criteria prioritization from the neighborhood. Approximately 56 citizens attended. Forecast traffic volumes along with a graphical collision history were available for viewing. All of the materials presented at the open house are available below.
Next Steps: City staff will be discussing the SE 32nd Street barricade at the January 11th City Council Study Session. At this Study Session, staff will present their recommended action, share data collected, share public input received and describe the proposed mitigation.
