2023 Pavement Overlays

Project Summary 

The City of Sammamish 2023 Overlay Project replaced the top layer of pavement on selected streets within the Hunter's Ridge and Klahanie neighborhoods. These streets are shown on the maps at the bottom of this page. The major items of work included effort to remove the top two inches of existing pavement, perform pavement repairs, and then place a new layer of hot-mix-asphalt pavement and new pavement markings. 

The streets resurfaced are:

• 247th Pl SE / 246th Ave SE / SE 43rd Pl / 244th Pl SE From SE 46th Pl to SE 42nd Pl
• Klahanie Drive SE From QFC Driveway to 252nd Avenue SE

This project is part of the City of Sammamish Pavement Management Program, which provides major street maintenance of roadways. This maintenance include street overlays, pavement rehabilitation, curb and sidewalk repair and appropriate Americans with Disabilities (ADA) retrofit work. Construction Information

This project has reached substantial completion. The Klahanie and Hunter's Ridge neighborhoods have been resurfaced, roadway utilities have been raised, and the new pavement has been re-striped.
