Teen Fest, the skate competition and teen music festival is coming to Sammamish on June 14th, 2013.

Fourth on the Plateau, a family-oriented, Sammamish tradition, is coming back again on July 4th, 2013.




Date Event Description
April 2 CALLING ALL POETS! (and poetry lovers) Come listen to poetry by Washington's State Poet Laureate, Kathleen Flenniken, and VP of the Haiku Society of America, Michael Dylan Welch. OPEN MIC opportunity for poets of all ages are welcome to share their poems. This event is FREE.
April 20 Earth Day 2013 Celebrate Earth Day’s 43 Anniversary by learning about environmental activities available in our community and what you can do to help build an environmental movement and awareness. Tour the City’s new Community Garden.
June 14 Teen Fest Skate Competition and Teen Music Festival at the Sammamish Skate Park and Sammamish Commons Plaza

Skate competitors ages 13-20 must register in advance $5/residents, $10/non-residents. Helmets are required to compete.

Registration opens at 2:30pm, competition starts at 3:30pm.

The Boys & Girls Club will be sponsoring a Battle of the Bands immediately following the skate contest. Music starts at 6pm.

Admission is FREE.
