Community Sports Field at Eastlake High
Eastlake High School, 400 228th Ave. N.E.
Summary
This multi-purpose sports facility, featuring two synthetic surface fields, is operated
by the City in cooperation with Lake Washington School District. Among other things,
the field accommodates baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer. It accomodates activities
for adults and students all year round.
The field measures 400 feet by 350 feet, which translates into 3.2 acres of sports
field space for Sammamish. Since residents use the new field after school hours,
they are able to use pre-existing parking space at the school. Sports lighting allows
use into the evening.
The $2.5 million project was completed in January 2006.
