East Sammamish Park
NE 16th and 214th Avenue NE
This neighborhood park, located
directly behind Margaret Mead Elementary School, offers a play area, soccer field,
two baseball fields, tennis courts, and plenty of open space to play in or walk
your dog. A large covered pavilion is available for private party reservations.
Formerly a King County Park, this 19-acre facility was transferred to the city of
Sammamish after incorporation. Restoration projects completed to date include replacement
of restroom fixtures, infield, turf and safety upgrades to the athletic fields,
a new path walkway and several landscape renovations.

Driving Directions
From Issaquah / I-90
- Take exit #15 (Lake Sammamish State Park).
- Turn left and go over the freeway onto the Renton/Issaquah Road, which becomes SE
56th Street.
- Follow past Costco, the Fed Ex depot, and the 76/Brown Bear station.
- At the signal, turn left onto E. Lake Sammamish Parkway. Continue about one mile.
- Turn right onto SE 43rd Way, which becomes SE 228th Ave.
- Continue North to Inglewood Hill Road (several miles just past Sammamish Highlands
Center)
- Left on Inglewood Hill Road
- Continue to Roundabout
- Turn Right on 216th Street
- Left at the stop sign on NE 16th Street
- Bill Reams East Sammamish Park will be 4th Drive on right
From Redmond / SR 520
- SR-520 East to Redmond/Fall City Road Exit (SR-202)
- Right on SR-202 to East Lake Sammamish Parkway (2nd Light)
- Right on East Lake Sammamish Parkway to Inglewood Hill Rd. (Approximately 3.5 miles)
- Left onto Inglewood Hill Road
- Come up hill to the Roundabout
- Left on 216th Avenue
- Left at the stop sign on NE 16th Street
- Bill Reams East Sammamish Park will be 4th Drive on right
