City Council
The Sammamish City Council is elected at large by the community. The council elects
from itself two members to serve as Mayor and Deputy Mayor. It also appoints members
to Advisory Boards, which advise the council
on various matters.
Regular council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays at 6:30 pm, with
study sessions on second and fourth Tuesdays at 6:30. All meetings are open to the
public. Meeting times and dates are subject to change.
Agendas are posted on this website the preceding
Friday. Each council meeting includes time for public comment and speakers, typically
the first order of business after convening. Speakers are limited to three minutes
each, and may not address any item on the agenda. For issues requiring follow-up
action, it is helpful to have your comments in writing along with information on
how to contact you.
