Thanks to the Lake Sammamish Kokanee Work Group, more Kokanee salmon are making their way up local streams. Ebright Creek, for example, has seen big increases in the freshwater salmon.
Much of the credit for that goes to Wally Pereyra, a local resident who installed a large box culvert on his property so that salmon could get farther upstream. Click on the link below to see a video detailing the great success on Ebright Creek.
