The city of Sammamish is placing an Advisory measure on the November 2012 ballot. Voters will be asked to determine if the city should build a community center. The projected cost of the facility is approximately $30 million dollars. As the jurisdiction in charge, the city is responsible for facilitating the creation of a "statement in favor" of the ballot measure and a "statement in opposition" to the ballot measure. These statements will be included in the King County Voters Pamphlet and must be submitted to King County Department of Elections no later than August 15, 2012.
